Abstract

This study has the Pedagogical Residency Program as its context. This is an initiative implemented by the Coordination of Superior Level Staff Improvement (CAPES) since 2018. This Program offers scholarships to undergraduate students (residents), university professors, and basic education teachers (preceptors). Among the objectives intended in the first public notice, the promotion of qualification of the curricula and pedagogical proposals of the degree courses to the guidelines of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) stands out. In this context, the main objective of this study is to map the literature referring to the publications of the Chemistry subprojects of the Pedagogical Residency Program. In our analysis, we sought to observe the relationship established with critical aspects of the Program and with the Chemistry teachers training. In the mapping, we found 23 articles that described activities developed in the Chemistry subprojects. Most publications are experience reports produced in subprojects in the northern region. The articles present activities involving residents, preceptors, and students of the field schools. According to the aspects analyzed, we perceive a great concern with the achievement of the objectives described by CAPES, and the analysis indicates that there is a reformulation of the supervised internship and application of the BNCC in the activities developed by the residents. Some critical aspects are also cited but involve the way CAPES has conducted the Program's actions in Higher Education Institutions. Therefore, we highlight how the Pedagogical Residency Program has induced the reformulation of undergraduate courses in Chemistry in some universities in the country.
